Through the last half of 2007 and now into 2008, more and more websites are sporting peel away page technology, also known as peel away ads.
The reason is simple. Webpage peels are easy to implement and are effective. They don’t irritate your visitors because, unlike popups and fly-in ads, they are not “in your face” and don’t obstruct visitors from reading what is on your page.
However, the little animated curls that they display don’t go unnoticed, and often elicit the desired response of causing your visitors to hover their mouse of your webpage peel, hence revealing the offer or ad that you want them to see.
But getting your visitors to peel back your page is only the first stage of the process. The next stage is to ensure that the highest number of visitors that see your ad or offer actually proceed to click it! And there are only two factors at play that you have control over to ensure this. The first is of course the offer itself. The second factor relates to how visually appealing the peel ad graphic is. If it’s as ugly as sin, you will be lowering the percentage of visitors that proceed to click on your ad. Not many web business owners have high graphic skills, and so they will purchase such things as website templates. However until now, this option hasn’t been available for Peel Away Ads.

The eighteen large graphics are in 500 x 500 pixel size, and are configured for top right hand corner peel ads using either the peel away ads “single peel”, “rotating peel”, or “affiliate peel scripts”. In addition to the eighteen large peel ad graphics, the peel away ad images pack also includes eighteen small corner peels in 75 x 75 pixel size. These are the small animated corners that will appear before the page is peeled back. The 75 x 75 pixel size is suitable for all four of the peel away ads scripts.
