Why You Need A Registry Cleaner
I know some people think that registry cleaner software is just a money grab. You've never used it before so why do you really need it? I figured I would put a quick post togeher covering some of the reasons you might want to have a registry cleaner available and what types of things it repairs. I'd also suggest that if you're not familiar with these types of programs you check out these Registry cleaner ratings sites.
Software Uninstalling Incorrectly
Not every program has this problem, but when a program is removed it can leave some parts of it behind. Most of these items are system files and registry keys or values that were created when the software was initially installed. It might not cause any issues right away but over time this wasted space in the system registry can slow things down and sometimes even confuse windows.
A piece of registry repair software will remove out of date registry keys and values that are no longer needed left behind from removed programs.
Build up of Old Information
This happens just over time it's unavoidable, but your computers registry grows with time. There's a particular size that will start to cause problems for your PC and begin to cause noticeable slow downs and crashes. From starting up to accessing a program, to multitasking. There is good news though, using a registry cleaner you can reduce the size of your registry, by deleting old information, invalid registry keys and other non required data you can reduce the size of the file.
Adware and/or Spyware
Adware and spyware can often be the issue causing many problems that show up in windows and on your computer. While they may not be slowing things down they certainly aren't anything you want to leave around your windows registry for any length of time. Using a product like like registry mechanic will take care of that as well.
