Sony are currently creating a large range of downloadable PSP Go games available to their new portable. Since the PSP Go no longer holds a UMD drive, all titles must be downloaded via the Playstation Store. The benefit is that PSP Go now has access to a wide store of titles from numerous different Sony machines.
Many PS One classics are up as downloadable PSP Go games. These titles are sure to instill nostalgia to veteranplayers as they return to the classics of their youth! These titles are also enjoyable in their own right, and many new fans will still embrace such great titles as Crash Bandicoot, Ehrgeiz and the Soul Reaver titles.
Such is the power and potential of the PSP Go that it can house a number of Playstation 3 titles. These aren’t full-blown Playstation 3 games, but instead slimmer, more compact versions. They do exhibit excellent visuals and playability though, and are therefore perfect downloadable PSP Go games. Some examples are Joust, LocoRoco and Final Fight.
The PSP Go is also capable of playing PC ported titles, broadening the choices further. The list of these games is at present small, but Sony promise the range will be extended to comprise even more downloadable PSP Go games. The most noteworthy titles from the PC range available for the PSP Go are the Bonk franchise – which are as funny as they sound!
Naysayers were doubtful of the download basis of the PSP Go, but with a slew of great games already available, the device is growing in favour. The range of downloadable PSP Go games just keeps increasing, so go see what all the fuss is about!
